1. Responsible Use Policy & Legal Compliance
Spy Camera OS is designed and distributed as a tool for personal safety, security monitoring, civil accountability, investigative journalism, and lawful evidence collection.
User Obligation: You acknowledge and agree that electronic recording, audio monitoring, and photography are subject to strict local, municipal, state, national, and international laws. Depending on your jurisdiction:
- Certain regions require one-party consent or two-party / all-party consent to record confidential conversations or oral communications.
- Recording individuals in locations with an established reasonable expectation of privacy (such as restrooms, locker rooms, private bedrooms, or medical treatment rooms) is strictly illegal and categorically prohibited.
- You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable recording laws in the territory in which you operate this software.
2. Grant of License
The developer ("Licensor") grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the Spy Camera OS application on personal Android devices owned or controlled by you.
3. License Restrictions
Unless expressly authorized in writing by the Licensor, you shall not:
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from binary release artifacts.
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the software or binary APKs for unauthorized commercial monetization.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, trademarks, or copyright notices contained within the software.
4. Ownership & Intellectual Property
The software, documentation, graphics, branding, and all worldwide intellectual property rights related to Spy Camera OS belong exclusively to the Licensor (Jwork). This agreement conveys a license to use the software, not an ownership transfer.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Because mobile operating systems, hardware camera sensors, battery optimization algorithms, and manufacturer skins (e.g. Samsung One UI, Xiaomi HyperOS, Google Pixel) manage background processes dynamically, the Licensor cannot guarantee that recording will be uninterrupted or that media will be preserved in all edge-case scenarios.
6. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS, DEVELOPERS, OR DISTRIBUTORS BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF RECORDED DATA, HARDWARE MALFUNCTION, OR LEGAL PENALTIES ARISING FROM UNLAWFUL USER OPERATIONS.
